Default "Medieval 2 ran into a unspecific error"

I am pretty sure a lot of people had/have/ or know about this problem, when the game randomly crashes. I had this problem before but I just dealt with it, though this time I am really enjoying a certain save in a mod game. My mod is "Elder Scrolls" but I don't believe the mod has much to do with it or if it does, probably the different files that are the same that might be causing the problem.
Basically how my game crashes is on a certain save file, on turn 35+ it crashes during the end turn. Don't know how to fix it, so is there anyway a kind sir could help me with solving my problem without deleting my save?

Not likely. I am inclined to say it is the mod causing the issue. un-modded M2 unspecified CTD's are not usually that consistent, even with saved games. Also, The Elder Scrolls mod is still very new, there are bound to be a multitude of bugs that still need to be worked out, no matter how extensively they play-tested it.
The most likely culprit that jumps to mind (without actually knowing anything more specific) is an event involving an individual with an invalid name. The event is already set to happen in your save game, other people do not have the same unspecified CTD because that character is not linked to an event in their games. Mind you, I said without knowing anything more specific, I could be not even close.

Edit: I just looked over the Elder Scrolls forum and it seems there are several people reporting unspecified CTD, most specifically with the English translation. As I said, there are bound to be a multitude of bugs in a new mod, it's just a fact of life. (Hey, lets be honest, they already have fewer game-breaking bugs then vanilla M2 did for it's first 3-4 months after release!)

Alright thanks! I did learn yesterday that one problem is that character traits or world traits that conflict each other or something like that may cause the crash. I just posted this because it happened to be before several times and thought it won't be just the mod.
