lag in the game

Hello guys, i have been playing MTW2 for some day now. Everything is fine except for the performance, i turned most stuff off like vsync bloom etc, and all other stuff at medium and pixelshader on 2. But i still have hard time playing it, when a battle happens i always got performace drop. Here is my specs:
P4 2.77 Ghz
1Gig memory
ati x1600 256mb

dunno if i can lower some other things so it improves the rate a bit.

the same thing happens to me, just put everything on as low as it can go then choose the 2 shader thingy and put the model quality on high
