Weird M2TW bug when trying to unpack expansions

I have no idea why this happens. Vanilla M2TW and the Americas got unpacked regularly but the rest just shuts off immediately. I have the steam version (gold edition I believe) and I am using windows 8.

I had to time it perfectly just to screenshot it before it WOOSHes out on me.

Good to know, I had never been able to unpack the steam 'british_isles' campaign, don't know why that was the only one that gave me this issue, the others worked just fine. Probably because that was the one I actually wanted to look at to see how the culture thing worked.

Yeah! It took forever to find out, and the worst part is, you have to specifically word it in Google and search the pages where you might not look at first glance just to find a solution lol. But I'm so glad I found the solution. Were you able to get it working? If not, here's the instructions:

In you C:\ folder, make a new folder named "Medieval II Total War", then copy your mods folder with the dlcs in them into the Medieval II Total War folder, and then copy the tools folder along with it. Then just run the unpacker. It should work, if you have any problems you could ask me anytime. It's hard to get help on modding M2TW especially since it's such an old game and when newer games like Atilla are coming out, but it's the only game good enough to mod
