    Icon6 Capturing enemy artillery

Hi guys, after playing around 90 turns with the geats Iv noticed after some battles I end up with there artillery like the roman ballista which the geats can't build, Iv looked on google and many forums but have never seen anything about this subject so basically my question is are we able to capture enemy artillery somehow or is it a bug if it's a big I don't mind lol

You can't capture enemy artillery directly, but you can obtain enemy artillery by the "take on warriors" option after battle if you capture some of their artillerymen while they were fleeing and won the battle.

Well, from my own experience with my enemy capturing my artillery: it happens when artillery (its crew) is still on the battlefield (withdrawing or routing) when you press the "end battle" button. You also need to have a free slot in your stack. In my case, I was withdrawing from an assault and the arty being the slowest were the last unit to withdraw.

Yes you can capture enemy artillery. Not sure on the deciding factors or whether, like in Rome 2, even if you have a full stack, you can add stolen artillery to that force meaning you can now have a 21+ size stack.

I have gotten my artillery captured by the enemy when arty was the last piece off the field as I was withdrawing; I believe, they started routing too being left the last. You need to have a free slot in the stack too.
