Hey all so I have a custom sail I want to put in game. I have the rigid map and everything and placed int in the correct place in the varientmeshdefinition. My question is where do you apply the varientmeshdefinition when its complete?

Hey Nice to see I am not the only one with this interest for ships.
But I fear the link to the VDM file in the DB is in naval_models table which isn't readable in pfm.
I will try to look more into it, as I myself are trying to add rome 2 ships into Attila.
but look at the ship dbs table it has the model column.
from Jack LustedThe model field in ship_db defines the VMD for a ship, the VMD living in the VariantMeshDefinitions folder, same as for land units.

Ahhh ok that was my fear haha. I had a feeling it had something to do with that.
Don't worry just wait for the tools to Attila, then we can edit that table.
But you should be able to load you own vdm of a Attila ship which changes a already existing ship. (Haven't tried that yet)
just remember to load the VDM under the Variants table.
