How could this possibly happen? Lithuania owns the province but HRE owns the settlement



Just laughing at it at the moment, but I guess it would be nice if someone has an idea what might have caused this.

Just a small difference between the background of country and city people - but as long as they live together in peace and harmony everything is fine. It´s the first step into globalism in medieval times. See those princesses? Even more different nations and the one merchant to the right also. He feels a bit ashame and turns his back to us - but in the end he knows: Hey - no one can tell us where to live or where to work. We are one world - one humanity - and we´ll spread our thinking beginning in eastern germany near a city which is more in northern germany, but who cares. We are the first of our kind and we´ll never give up.

Side question: To the east - is this poland or Lithuania? Is the black region Vilnius? Does the settlement belong to Lithuania and the region to HRE?

Usually this happens when you update your campaign map but you forget to delete/rebuild the map.rwm somehow...

The black region was Vilnius, HRE took it on a crusade. Anyway I think you are close to the answer MWY. I had made changes to the map_regions.tga and went back to play an old save that was started before the changes. Went back again and it was completely messed up. Different colors everywhere. A shame as I had almost restored Justinian's empire
