Default Core issues with this game, anyone else agrees?

So since my gf gave me this copy, I thought I'll try it after the failure that was Rome 2. Compared with the release state, this game is a huge improvement, but compared to what Rome 2 is now...wow

most if my issues are either with the AI or the artificial difficulty that's anooying. So I'll explain
    - AI takes no penalty when entering neutral borders, or when raiding neutral territory. You would think the AI would consider this an act of war.
    - AI is too opportunistic. It betrays me too easily for little things like sacking despite the fact that they only field 1 stack to my 12.
    - AI is too trigger happy with sacking and razing settlements. I have yet to see a huge empire. I know the theme is the apocalypse but the AI doesn't expand, or migrate. It's mindlessly sacking and the guns just raze everything apparently
    - Honing missile effect the AI seems to have for the player. They all seem to hate you more every turn, they chase you across the map

lastly it's this blasphemous artificial difficulty. Corruption you can barely control, hate that the AI seems to generate towards you as you get bigger.

Like im currently in a playthrough, most of the map is at war with me except WRE. I have a huge army, but the AI doesn't look to expand or migrate. Both my enemies and neutral faction are just entering my borders with no penalty, raiding, retreat the second I try to meet them, and reappear in a different place. If I give chase the neutral faction which border me suddenly betray me to sack a useless town hence declaring war.

The AI does have penalty when trespassing against other factions. You can see that trespass actions of AI affect the faction relations with allies of the faction being trespassed on.

If you sack their settlement, that's an act of war. So of course they'll betray you if you sack their settlement.

As for the homing missile effect, this has been complained about many times. Personally, I think this effect should be adjusted based on the distance from you to the AI.

The corruption system effectively means that small and medium sized kingdoms are way better than large empires untill very late in the game, which means the ERE is way weaker than it should be.

I think the lack of bigger AI empires is in part due to the Imperium penalty with the neighbors. The player can handle two- or three-front wars, the AI can't. Once it gets too big it'll be dragged into these and razed/conquered down to size again.

I have yet to see the AI attempt to make an empire
all it does is raze and sack. It follows me around chasing me with what seems like no penalty on border entrance, so he crosses 59 FING borders just to try and sack instead of actually trying to create an empire

Its annoying how ai have this "Razing >>>> Occupying even though I have 80k gold and 7.5k per turn" mindset 99% of the time. My visigoth buddies in spain razed everything except 2 regions in the iberian peninsula, and its annoying to see literally nothing around me except "Desolate"

Although the mod that disables razing for everyone except huns is nice, it would be even better if CA released a minipatch asap that makes AI raze alot less.
Oh and let us gift regions as long as the region is on borders of the faction you want to gift it to. Horde only territory gifting is a bit silly

Rest of the problems atleast for me was solved by mods

Maybe factions defending against a faction that razes a lot should get a very big morale bonus to represent the fact that they will loose everything if they don't fight to the last man, as well as giving a razing faction diplomatic penalties with everyone (like looting and exterminating did in previous tw games)

As the WRE, I have Eastern factions very far away, sending full stacks across the Mediterranean to attack Magna Graecia, when they should be attacking the ERE or closer factions. Only one faction has a semblance of an empire, Mazun or whatever they're called has their starting settlement and then all of Egypt to Garamantia. Also the Huns never attack my settlements; for about 15 turns they have just been raiding my borders. As for razing, early game there was a lot. Late game a lot less. The eastern factions almost never took the ERE settlements and now they are finally getting strong again and have most of Anatolia at turn 125.
