    Hello there first of all excuse my English and luring you into here.
    Im really new into modding but lately im EDITING/TWEAKING some major mods for my taste.
    But this here is only what you call reskin or unit editing.
    Im trying to make/edit-to some really balanced and logical overall gameplay(combat and campaign)

    Why Reskin? Cause I was checking out some units and find it really weird that Roman Tier1 Palatini has full scale armor
    but Elite palatini has some leather armor? Like really? So Im dividing every units into 4 category.
    Also General has some Leather armor? again...really? Thats like instant -100 morale.
    So Im Generous editer changed Roman generals armor into shining scale armor. (dont worry Im gonna reduce their number)



    What Im trying to do with reskin?
    Im gonna give logical equipment for soldiers. No more expensive shiny armor for newly recruited fresh soldier. No more cheapiness toward war veteran, they deserve the best equipment.

    Whats on my mind?
    I came up soldier formula for roman and huns units.

    How is it going?
    Pretty good, Just having some defficulty with KV_rules and things... After its done some Gameplay mods need to major fix on it, thats for sure.

    Mass production . You can see here Cohors became mass production. They have cheap equipments and really low morale, so they will become poor bastards in the first line of the battle.

    Really low upkeep, cheapest equipment, high in number, low morale.

    Second - Tier1. Mostly little bit better equipped and decent trained.

    Third - Tier2. Its like Mid-Hero in dota...Tier2 units do most works in my mod. Equppid differently depends on faction. Huns melee tier2 < Roman melee tier2.

    Fourth - Tier3 elite. Best of the best, They will really shine out in my mod if player and AI use them correct. But they are less in man power so 1 elite(75-125man) vs 1 mass prodcution(200man) they might lose. Dont think them as Achilles.

    i know... thats too much pink... but i cant make it darker...Also why they all have same cloak? cause they are their to protect him...

    Most importantly why this Topic?

    Cause I need help on Factions strong point and weak point. So far Im done with Roman and Huns.


    Huns
    +Good manpower (tier1 make 150 units)
    +Great cavalry and archery
    +Fast creation time
    +Cheaper cavalry and less creation time on cavalry (im thinking something like 5 gold for each light horse, 10 for heavy, so 10x7.5)
    =medium morale
    =kinda poor equipment
    -weak infantry

    Roman
    +Great melee
    +Good morale (good morale means higher than Huns morale. Even if huns got manpower their morale will be lesser than roman)
    +Reduced creation time on tier3 units
    +good equipment
    =average creation time
    -less manpower (tier1 makes 125)
    -probably gonna be high upkeep due to good equipment

    Other than this I have no idea! gonna make Vikings spear unit superior and maybe good morale in t1. but im not sure.

    This is a great idea, and the skins look and work great. Hope you do more skins like this.

    Thanks and i will do. But the problem is I dont know what was other factions superiority. Alamans and Alans seems like good skirmish cavalry and units were their superiority. Also archer units. Im really wondering how brave they were or trained. Its really hard to edit when I dont historically dont know them.
