    Default Lowering Settlement Growth

    Is there a way to mod the settlement growth rate? The current growth is so big that all provinces start to feel the same after playing for cuople of dozen turns. I tried modding descr_regions.txt and descr_settlement_mechanics.xml but it didn't seem to change anything. Other solution I tried was to make new wall levels so expensive no one could build them, but I guess there's a limit to that, the price went up but not nearly enough.

    So, I'd appreciate any suggestions on making the population growth lower or preventing the upgrade of walls. I really enjoy the mod otherwise but I start to feel that this problem is destroying much of the potential of the mod.

    True that,specialy in the empire.

    You can put negative growth in dscr_buildings.txt.There you can also add requirements for walls that cant be met so no 1 will ever be able to build any higher then what they have.Also in start file you can lower all the population to 0 tho that might cause crash,not sure if game alows population to be 0.

    In 1.6 CoW there will be no population growth so if you are patient you can just wait

    1.6 is going to have settlement growth entirely removed(pop will be fixed) so stay tuned.

    Most idiotic think that made off, in that update. Well GG High Elf. This should be optional for people who won't that, I personaly dislike that idea.

    It's great idea... i did think it's bad idea too but after thinking about it i'm 100 % sure it's gonna be great improvment, we gonna to defend the cities, if we lost one it's a huge hit for us ...

    Yes ofc, if chaos don't have spam army ok, do have in 1.6 ? 4 full stack korn army is ok. Kislev have 2 citys where u can produce some elite unit's, and one castle. Rest is useless. And ofc, all evil armies will have script to spam full stacks, becouse is Warhammer, and is great idea. And Elfs, no city, and wont be able to upgrade, what a great idea.
