Default Help with Kingdoms from Steam

Hey guys I've been really stumped by this problem. I've been really wanting to try different mods so I uninstalled Medieval 2 and EB 2 and reinstalled it from the steam. The problem is Steam decided to change how Kingdoms works since I last downloaded it and made it DLC, so there's no executable for it in the Medieval folder. All the campaigns work and vanilla MTW2 works, but no mod will work since it can't find the executable and neither can I. Any help would be greatly appreciated since I've been waiting on Steam support for 4 days.

Make a copy of the medieval2 exe, then rename it kingdoms.

In Steam, right click on Medieval 2 and go to properties, "Set launch options", and paste the following text:

    Code:
    --features.mod=mods/EBII
Or instead of EBII, write the name of the mod folder you want to play. For example, even though my version of Stainless Steel is 6.4, the mod folder is named 6.3. So to play SS I would change the launch option to this:

    Code:
    --features.mod=mods/SS6.3
As far as I know, the "Kingdoms.exe" was basically renamed "medieval2.exe" by the last steam update, so now M2TW has all of the benefits of that executable (better AI, etc.). Someone can correct me if I'm wrong.
