Help with Bithynia?

I'm pretty new to the mod and have been looking for a fun Greek faction that fits my defensive play style and eventually came across Bithynia, and I've been trying to make them work, so aside from trying to wrap my head around the economic system I've been wondering if anyone has any tips for Bithynia? anything from army comps to tactics and dealing with pergamum early. I'm going to leave this vague because at this points i'm just looking to soak up information for the mod anyways.

Hmm for Pergamon, early on run about and cap all their settlements. While Pergamon itself may be hard to capture, if you build your barracks and then get a unit of Stone Throwing Siege ballista, you will then be able to take it. Before that point though, if the faction -only- holds Pergamon it will be forced to ceasefire with you over and over.

I think Bithynia is one of the hardest to play as. Build up your economy and take weak settlements that way you can slowly build up

I wrote down some observations about Bithynia in this thread. In my opinion it is one of the hardes factions in RS II.
