The reason I'd like this is because the AI doesn't have the same objectives as humans clearly as they show COMPLETE dis-regard for their home capital/cities/towns and would rather you come take it turning them into a horde/migrating faction because then they flee off for 20 turns, gather allies and troops then come back when your fighting someone else. Now some will say that intelligent of them to do that but its not if they had the same victory objectives as us because you need to control settlements to win. Hording/migrating forever isn't going to let you do that. Now despite that and in all of this, they in most cases are factions that are NOT a migrating faction to begin with. Everyone can turn into a migrating faction even when their last settlement is destroyed which I think is completely bonkers. That needs to be stopped, if your last town/city is dead it should be like Rome II with SEVERE army depletion penalties due to lack of food. I spent over 100 turns of 150 chasing armies across the map just to finish off pathetic little hordes who run away (staying just out of the area of attack always! Then gather allies (even with so called great power debuff for political relations) who have no food (realistically). Yet even as a horde they still ally up with everyone else against you. As a human player you cant ally for toffee in most cases in migration mode.
All in all I believe only migrating factions should be able to migrate once their last settlement has been (if they have one at the time) has been taken or destroyed. I've just found everyone doing it ruins the idea of settlement and settlements! all together.
Just wondered if anyone else got as hacked off as me with this or if they thought it was a good idea. I've posted this on the official forums but as to no surprise I had no response from CA.
