    Default Heritage system

    Two questions.

    1) I married the heir of the Geats in to my Jutes family (the daugther of my high king). It would be reasonable to say, that as long as my high king is alive and the heir of the Geats will inherite his empire I should be in control of that. Maybe when my High King dies, he will challenge my heir for is old kingdom, that would be logic. So far this hasn't happened to me yet, but just wondering what will happen.

    2) What will happen if my High King dies with no heirs (just daugthers). Will an other noble inherite the empire or challenge one of the daughters for it?
Other way round. What if I marry a, let's say, Geat woman in my family and she will become the only heir to the throne. It would be logical to say her husband (son-in-law of the late king, my character) will inherite the empire?

Just wondering, maybe somebody has a thought of this happend to him/her.

Edit: Extra thought: Will basterd childeren challenge their legitimate brother (heir) when they are older?

On my playthrough as the Jutes, i also married a princess from both the Danes and the Geats. It had no bearing on inheritance as far as I could tell.

When you marry your daughter to another faction she joins their faction and no longer participates in your family politics. She still shows up on your family tree with her husband but you can't do anything with them like set him as heir or use their influence.

It's just, they can get a lot more out of this than they do now.
