    Default (submod) Some Feoderati units for WRE

    This submod adds a couple of units to the WRE since I fell they lack feoderati and I hate having to rely on random mercenaries and levy troops. Unfortunately creating new units is still to complicated for me. I have tried several times and failed miserably. So until I can finally figure that out I simply used units from other rosters as stand ins. However eventually I would like to replace or at least rename the units to make them fit a little better. All these units are recrutable from the garrison chain. I did this so they cant be recruited all over and usually I fell like people build their garrisons on boarder provenience which is were I fell like many feoderati would likely they would of been recruited in real life anyway. Also several of the units are unlocked by technology so you cant recruit them all from the start of the game. However it wont say on the technology that unlocks a certain unit but it still does. I also only choose units that aren't in garrisons because that would cause them to be in the WRE garrisons as well which is why this submod isn't really compatible with the vanilla game and only FOE.

    I have added the garrison chain to the ERE it turned out to be super easy. The 2 submods should work together I will make a one that combines the 2 in the next couple of days for those of you who want to use both at once.

    Added Garrision building chain to the ERE as well as mad a feoderati submod for them as well

    Notes: Spear unit added due to request however I couldn't add a lower level unit such as Germanic Levies due to them being a garrision unit. I also decided to add an archer unit, shock calvary, tier 1 sword unit and a club unit to give more variety to the feoderati. available to the WRE

    If anyone has any suggestions of units that should be added or taken away or would like to help wih renaming or better yet creating new unit splease let me know.

    some germanic spears please. I would love to build my norther legions as Germans with a core roman Heavy infantry

    I have little idea about adding a building to the construction chain, but could you not add a Feoderati chain? This could supply Goths and Huns, later Gepids to ERE, and Franks and Goths and Huns to the West

    I have no idea on how to add buildings since I am fairly new to modding but I am learning more every day. I would really like to make a submod that adds the garrison chain to the ERE since right now I am not really sure we're to make the units recruitable from. I also do think a feoderati chain of buildings would be another cool thing to add.
    I made a test mod today for them today using the main city as the place recruitable for lower level units like Germanic warband and using the administration chain for the higher tier units.

    Does anyone know of any good scores for the common types of feoderati used by the ERE mainly since I have only really been able to find info about them using Germanic feoderati. Also about the Feoderati units used by the WRE as far as what the common troop types were, types of weapons, which nations or tribes they were mainly from. Since my goal is to make my own units adventually and I like to keep things as historical as possible unit wise. However this is not a roman time period I know a lot about.

    If you have info about the feoderati of the ERE or the WRE then I could use that since this is just a first version and I I'll most likely be changing the units and hopefully making new units instead of just picking units I thought seem like they would be good choices.

    One thing just for starters the WRE should have Franks settled as Laeti settled on designated land supervised by a Praepositi (TH. COD. 13.11.10) Law of 399 terrace laeticacae, states that these settled Franks had to provide military man power which was hereditary. This is not the same has a foederati which would be native contingents which had own weapons and equipment

    This is a great mod, adds more realism to the late Roman Empires, but will it be updated anytime soon?

    Its all good Gaius I haven't worked on the submod in awhile anyway but I would still like to improve it and the more info i have the better.

    Shaygontex It doesn't need to be updated for current patch as far as other updates I am waiting for the attilia tools before I try to create my own units.
