    Default Camel utins are broken

    Hi,
I dont know how known this bug is, but the Sassanid camel units are all broken...
You can send a Clibanarii or Sugdian camel raider unit to fight a melee cav like Tagmata cav and they fail to even kill a single man in the enemy unit....
Try this for yourselves in multi player, a Tagmata cav unit can literally wipe out infinite numbers of Sassanid camel units if they come at them one by one without losing a single man.
Has anybody found any use for these camel units so far?

The problems with Camels : the scare effect doesn't apply properly in some scenarios/the morale impact is not enough, and they lack a bonus vs large which means they'll get crushed by spear cav, especially tagmata.

Oh,and they're also massively overpriced due to them having a lot of passive abilities.

Fear stacking can be effective when the morale debuff applies, but not effective enough imo. Camel clibinarii in conjunction with Persian mounted warriors can work decently.

I've been having success with Sassanids lately even in tournament settings but sadly not because of camels. They were probably the units i was looking the most forward to ( after the Sarmatians and Celts, surprise surprise big flop there).

scare ability means nothing, even what you call fear stacking is useless when your enemy unitshas a moral of 60 lol

it's a comparison between sassanid and byzantine units... pretty much sums up how useless shock and melee sassanid units are

    result:

1: a single tagmata unit beats 5 sassanid sugdian camel raider units and less than 10 men of them die (it was only due to fatigue that they lost some men, they managed to wipe out the first three camel units without losing a single man)

2: a byzantine melee infantry unit manages to beat 2 gyan avspar units and only the third charging gyan avspar manages to defeat them.

3: elite daylamite infantry and eastern armored legio are almost equal when fight head to head

4: unlike gyan avspar shock cavalry, tagmata melee cav easily manages to beat sassanid elite dailamite infantry

5: gyan avspar has even a hard time beating a byzantine camel skirmisher which is a missile unit... this is really something for the most reputed cavalry in the history lol
