As far as i know, there is 4 unique cities in the game right now.
Rome, who looks different than how it looked in Rome 2, more "imperial" and bigger, it's a very nice city.
Constantinople is awesome and accurate (if you don't mind byzantine buildings like Hagia Sophia in Attila time frame...) and by far the largest and the most beautifull total war city to date.
There is also Ctesiphon, the Sassanid capital, it's a large city with the real palace in the middle of it but the reconstitution feel more "generic" than for Rome and Constantinople, apart from the palace.
And i noticed Ravenna too got a unique map, but the city itself is underwhelming, what set it apart from "generic" cities is the port layout (the real Ravenna housed one the major roman fleet and was a naval base) and the swamp around the city wich probably makes an assault more difficult.
