Non-player armies generating generals?
I've noticed that non-player faction armies without generals can generate generals out of nowhere, both in Rome TW, and Medieval II. I think it happens exclusively when I assassinate generals of armies. That is, I murder their general, and one (sometimes two) turns later a new general pops up out of nowhere (as far as I can follow, they do not come from nearby ships or cities). It seems like some inexplicable handicap against the player. Is it a bug, or is it meant to be this way?

Re: Non-player armies generating generals?
I think that some sort of equivalent of the "Offered for Marriage/Adoption" general the player gets offers, for the AI they spawn directly I guess. Anyway not that much of a player handicap as an aid to not kill factions by eliminating their family members.

Kinda works like a "Man of the Hour" event, but with no battles. Saves the AI the hassle of spawning family members at the capital and having to send each individual one to an army.
