Icon5 So what should I do now?

Hello everyone! I could use some advice on what I should do in my Byzantine Campaign. After 100 turns, the world has slowed down somewhat. Let me tell you about it:

The Western Empire has been exiled from Italy and is barely holding on to Africa and Southern Hispania. 4 Rival Empires has risen: Britannia, Gaul, Hispania and Italia.

I have destroyed the Sassanids and currently, their former satrapies are engaging the Arabian Seperatists of Persis and Assyria.

The Huns and the Western Empire are at war with about 3/4 of the World.

The Visigoths, at Strength Rank 3, are slightly stronger than the Huns, at rank 4.

Now what should I do now?

    A. Prepare my fleets and sail out to crush what is left of the Western Empire, so that the Barbarians can focus on the Huns?

    B. Invade Italy and Raetia-Noricum?

    C. Bide my time and focus my efforts on fortifying Pannonia, Dalmatia and Dacia and resettle the desolate Ethiopia?

Prepare for a really big drop in food and unrest once again in a few turns, also try and build up a bit more, maybe go after the Garmanians, in my ERE campaign, they were a huge PITA because they continued to backstab me every few turns.

Yeah I can't figure out what that huge drop is caused by. I mean, Im running with a mod that nullifies the climate change drop. But now, after I've taken care of the West and eliminated Makran (that declared war on me for no reason) plus having seized Eudaemon, my income suddenly decides to drop from + 90 mil to - 30 000, just like that! And I was about to settle in Ethiopia!

I actually did kill him (at age 28 I think), but the Huns respawned the next turn. They are currently up engaging the Slavs and down manouvering around Visigothic Italy. I have to wait until they come back to my territory again.

When you kill Atilla, you should get a popup saying he's dead. Then the Huns should no longer receive stacks from the script. They should be able to be wiped out.

Strengthen, fortify, let everyone else beat each other up.

I don't remember if I got that. And even if I can kill them now, I have to wait until they get back to my territory. I do not want to risk another lengthy war against endless full-stacks

    Solid strategy.
