Default Forcing the AI to withdraw during a lost siege?

I know this is probably a stretch, but would there be any way to script the AI to retreat in a siege after it loses it's engines? Are there any in-engine mechanics that count how many pieces of equipment a force has on the battlefield?

If that doesn't work, do any of you think there would be a way where the enemy would take massive moral drops from losing equipment?

I'm just 100% done with CA attempting to duct-tape fix issues instead of removing unwanted features

Don`t blame you. Although I think this something too tough for modders to fix.
