Ask me anything about the Long Beards DLC - Let's Play begun - Video included
I've recently began a let's play of the new Long Beards DLC pack where I'm playing as the Langobards. My experiences so far are good, but if there's anything on your mind or you just wanna see how it plays, I've included part 1 here! If there's anything you want me to check out, ask!

I'm playing as the Longobards as well and loving it - only problem I had so far is I have too many allies surrounding me.and I don't have enough money to bribe them to confederate with me :p

The only rule that ever made sense to me I learned from a history, not an economics, professor at Wharton. "Fear," he used to say, "fear is the most valuable commodity in the universe." That blew me away. "Turn on the TV," he'd say. "What are you seeing? People selling their products? No. People selling the fear of you having to live without their products." freakin' A, was he right. Fear of aging, fear of loneliness, fear of poverty, fear of failure. Fear is the most basic emotion we have. Fear is primal. Fear sells. WWZ

Thanks, man! Uploading the 3rd one as we speak (takes foreeeeever, tho, no joke as my upload spead isnt the best )
@Heathen Storm: I know, right? I figure that you ally with the Franks (in any way you can) and the Alamans, but you act strategically "violent" with the others. Also keep an eye on the Burgundians, they seem to be quite strong.

I have a strong alliance with the Franks, Alemans and Thuringians (trying to get the Thurs to join me XD) and we're all ganging up on the Roman provinces

I think that's pretty difficult to answer, but the Langobards do begin with only a minor settlement, compared to the Alamans who begin with a province capital. So there's that, I guess.

Who do you attack? I took over the settlement to my East and then sent an army to Britain to take over a desolate region. It feels like if I start attacking my other neighbours I'll start getting really bad diplomatic penalties and cause a ganging up on me.

If you check out my let's play, you'll see that I attacked the Marcomans first, and kept the Alamans and Franks alone. The Romans are to the south as well, so I guess that is an option
@Butan: I'm pretty sure their units will appear in your previous games, yes At least that is how almost every unit mod works - that they appear even on old save games.

Stupid question: if I play a campaign I started before the release of Long Beards, will those AI controlled overhauled factions (in my ongoing campaign) have their new units or I need to restart?
