    Default Forced diplomacy

Not sure if this is the best place to ask, but is there any way to force the AI to accept your proposals?

I miss the option to threaten other faction in Shogun 2, it made me feel so tyrannical and much more powerful.

I think it is just factored into your power and another faction's current state but it doesn't feel satisfying at all.

You mean, a "force diplomacy mod" like in RTW and M2TW ? not sure it's possible.

Yes, there are ways to enforce diplomacy.

Be at war with the faction, and destroy their armies. Enemy faction traits for leaders etc must not be stubborn or something similar in the English language version of the game. March an overwhelming number of troops next to their settlements, besiege them all at once if necessary. If there is an army enbunkered down in one of their settlements, starve it if you can or destroy that army. Then sue for peace, and you will have a great modifier towards them allowing you to put through heavily unbalanced demands (like in the treaty of Versailles, or after WW2, or other dictated peaces IRL).

Just like IRL, a faction won't simply bend to your demands through a magic button if all that is bad are your relations...

This is the way to do it, assuming that the AI diplomacy is working as intended.

Yeah, I was looking for a console command, or something similar.

But my problem is with the sassanids, I managed to destroy 2 out of 4 invading armies and the other 2 are crippled, but I had my losses too, I have a lot of money, but they wouldn't accept anything

Well, spend your money on raising more armies, then. Problem solved. ;-) A.k.a. screw diplomacy if you have the possibility to beat your enemy into the ground.

He's looking for a console command..

.. your best bet to get one is to ask nicely on the official CA forums.

But really, who wouldn't just take those settlements because they can and destroy the faction/cripple them completely? Threaten makes more sense
