"What news do you bring from the battlefield," the Prince asked the lieutenant.

"A large army led by general Andrew Yronwood under the Blackfyre banner lay siege to Kingsgrave, my lord,"
the man replied. "And they tried to cut us off by blockading our main army in Skyreach with a fortification in the valley. General Yronwood truly is a pitiful man if he thought that that would stop us. Our men have passed that obstacle going through little known, mountainous paths, and thus we took our enemies at unawares and crushed them!"

"What of the general and the remaining forces?" the Prince asked.

"My lord, they have retreated to the fort...where they will meet their end." Maron Martell nodded and a barely noticable smile appeared on his face.

Lord Damon was sitting in his tent, watching newest reports that just arrived with a raven. A wedding of his daughter was behind him and now it was time to concentrate on the upcomming battles and Damon knew very well that not only swords, but also diplomacy won many wars so he was busy writing different letters on their war march.

"My Lord, lord Marbrand is here" his squire suddenly said. "He asked for your audience."

"Marbrand? Send him in immediately" Lord Damon replied and a few moments later he was already sitting with lord Marbrand behind wooden desk and there was a satisfaction on his face.

"That was quick. How many men have you brought?"

"7000 my lord, but more are still on their way. They should all gather in one week and then we can march on our enemies."

"No" Lord Damon replied. He was gazing on an old map that was laying on his desk and what he saw there gave him boldness.

"We march at dawn, others will join us later. We must press on fishes and secure the Riverlands for Daemon. Let they hear how Lions roar."

    The Declaration of Highgarden

"Ed will not be happy about this father."
Axell Tyrell sighed as he shifted uncomfortably in his seat.

"He'll see the war he so desires my boy." Lord Leo stared at his youngest for a moment, "Trust me, there will be chances aplenty for glory."

"Listen to father Axell." Harlan interjected, "This is for the best."

"Your to ride for your brothers camp at Cider Hall." Lord Leo continued. "Give this letter to him and do not open it under any circumstances."

"What is it?" Axell asked, knowing he'd get no answer.

"Nothing for your eyes my boy." Leo rose from his seat, "Go to your brother, give the letter to him and only him. Nobody save Ed is to read it!" Axell bowed his head in respect, took the sealed letter and rose off to Cider Hall with an honor guard of around forty knights. Meanwhile Lord Leo and his eldest son Harlan continued to speak in private. "I have sent out the ravens to each camp and everything is in motion."

"Everything will be fine father." Harlan began to reassure his father who was clearly anxious. "The plan is a good one, we shall not fail."

Axell Tyrell rides out to meet with his brothers at Cider Hall, carrying an important letter from Lord Leo. Meanwhile ravens fly out with a declaration from Highgarden; one of allegiance to the Red Dragon and the Iron Throne.

To the Lords and Ladies of Westeros

I, Leo Tyrell, Lord of Highgarden and Warden of the South, do hereby declare for King Daeron II
Daeron is a proven King and under his rule we've had many years of peace. The traitor Daemon seeks to ruin that peace and for the sake of my children and future grand-children i cannot allow this to stand. I had hoped to stand aside and let the Iron Throne deal with this upstart without the need of Reachmen blood, but alas it seems that treason breeds treason and his Grace has dire need of my support. I shall not fail in my duty.

    - Leo Tyrell, Lord of Highgarden and Warden of the South -

Ser Harrold found his lord atop the battlements of Riverun amongst several of his bannermen. When he approached Ser Whalen Vance stopped him with a bursque hand. “What do you require ser?” he asked.
Ser Harrold held up the unsealed letter. “A letter for Lord Medger. Maester Candry told me to come to you at once.”
Lord Medger looked a fierce sight clad in his shining steel armor though his fray of wild auburn hair made him almost appear comical. “Give it here here boy,” the Lord of Riverun said. He read the letter before a deep flush began to creep its way up his neck. He furled the letter in a mailed fist and flung it into the wind. “The Blackfyres have attacked Tristifer and laid siege to saltpans and then names us traitors. So the dragon bastard sees a shadow in every corner does he? We declare for him and he repays our kindness with treachary. If the fool had more sense the he would have seen that Tristifer was attempting to make his way back to Riverun to flee from the war… He had some thirty men with him…. THIRTY! NOT TWO HUNDRED! NOT ONE HUNDRED! SEVEN HELLS NOT EVEN FIFTY! With the Tyrells declared for King Dareon this war is all but finished. We were Daemeons last hope. Looks like its time to see if lions can swim.” Lord Medger turned to Ser Harrold, “Are you a good marksmen boy?”
    “The best,” Ser Harrold said.
“See that Blackfyre flag atop the keep?”
    “Aye my Lord.”
    “Burn it.”

I'm not blaming you, it's just taking so long. Is it such a deliquate matter that needs consulting with other admins or staff?

    Crossing of the Red Fork

A small fort was laying on their way, guarding the path into the heart of the Riverlands. Defenders were outnumbered ten to one but they would lose precisous time laying siege to it and in the meantime an army of Tully's could arrive so Lord Damon deciced for another plan. He send an emissary from his house to deal with the soldiers with his clever wits and tongue while the Lannister army way waiting. Twenty thousand soldiers armed in red and gold, but still more were comming every day and the only thing that lied between them and their goal was a river, muddy red and brown.

Lord Damon was sitting on his horse, gazing upon the setting sun when the emissary returned. It was a sleak and a tall men who would be average if not bad soldier, but his diplomatic skills were another matter entirely. "It is done my Lord. The crossing is ours as are those men" he remained professional and wasn't smiling as he looked upon his lord but Damon heard satisfaction and pride in his voice.

"Very well done Stackspear, not a moment too early." He turned his head do Lord Marbrand "Our armies must reach the other side till dusk and once we are there, the Riverlands are in our grasp."

"Tullys will probably react. They may lack manpower to oppose us openly, but they will certainly defend themselves. It may not be easy to breach through it" said Lord Marbrand slowly. He was sitting on his great warhorse next to Damon as they were riding together from the Golden Tooth.

"Certainly not, but we will nontheless. Tullys fate is already sealed, they may just not realize it." He smiled and rode forth and the rest of the army followed him. Those few men at the fort who were promised gold and titles for turning sides soon joined them, not regretting for a moment they picked the other side when gazing upon magnificent Lannister army. Till dusk everything was set for the next stage of invasion - camps were standing on both sides of the Red Fork and while the soldiers were drinking and whoring, their lords were making war plans.
