"My lord, a raven from Kingslanding. My lord, the king, he......" his measter said to lord Bryce Baratheon.
"Give me the letter" Bryce interupted him. He took the letter and started reading.
"Dark wings, dark words" Bryce muttered, as he finished the letter.
"What does it say?" Matthos Dondarrion asked.
"It is about House Tyrell, read for yourself". Bryce said as he passed the letter around his war council.
"What are we to do? House Blackfyre has laid siege to the Targaryen fortifications near Harrenhall with four full armies and now this? Perhaps it is wise to fall back to the Stormlands and......" Lord Fell said.
"Stop that thought right there, before you utter treason" Bryce interupted him. "The King believes he can win near Harrenhall, we must trust him and do as he commands. With Blackfyre ravaging our South we cannot afford to stay idle."
"Assemble the men, we march at dawn."
The next day the army marched to Kingslanding and the Tyrell camp near Kingslanding. The Tyrells had always stayed close to Kingslanding for protection of the King.
Lord Bryce personally rode in the Tyrell camp with 50 of his best knights, while the rest of his army waited on the hills. He wanted to avoid bloodshet.
He stopped for lord Harlan Tyrells tent, dismounted and strode inside.
Lord Harlan and his personal bodyguard awaited him, full armed for battle.
"Lord Harlan, it seems you expected us." Bryce said.
"I knew what was up the moment we saw your colors on the hills" Harlan answered.
Then I hope you see sense. Bryce said.
"Lord Harlan Tyrell, in the name of King Daeron Targaryen, King of the Andals, Roynar and the First Men, Lord of the Seven Kingdoms and Protector of the Realm, you are hereby under arrest for the charge of treason. Lay down your arms and face the king's judgement." Lord Bryce Baratheon proclaimed.
"You really thought to get us without a fight? You are with only fifty men in my camp, surrounded by thousands of my men" Harlan said as he drew his sword.
"Sadly, no, just wanted to give you the chance" Bryce said as Baratheon attack horns sounded in the distance. He drew his sword.
"Now, you shall face the penalty for treason."
