Any idea how to give Ostrogoths access to Roman military buildings or maybe Ostrogoths with a new building chain with romanized buildings?

Don't preorder games!
that would be awesome. it would be great if they could build roman style cities aswell
truth is they did build them so- someone will / could change ostio's building style to roman quite simply I think- just replace all with roman buildings
From my understanding Ostrogoth building are no different than other barbarian cultures and that is not historical at all. Maybe they should have their own version of build chain.

Ostrogoths are a Barbarian Tribe. They sacked Rome and sought to revive Roman culture and successfully 'sort of' emulated this to a certain effect, but they aren't Romans. You could say a lot of things are not historically accurate such as X tribe having the same buildings as X tribe, but when it comes down to it - the ostrogoths were a barbarian tribe at the time this game dictates, they were not the ostrogothic kingdom.
Ps / OT / non rant - there is no way to hybridize the Ostrogoth culture because the same Culture cannot have the same buildings and if it did I think that'd be pretty counter immersive. The fact that ostrogoths can even recruit Roman units is kind of anti history because the ostrogothic kingdom didn't happen until 495 give or take a few years.
This is 100 years after the start of this game - 100 years of being Barbarians prior to this.

This is mostly true, the Rex Italae is not even born, the kingdom far into future, even name Ostrogoths should not exist.
The group we refer to as Ostrogoths formed around the Amals under Theodemir, after break up of Hunnic empire.
Theodoric, Theodemir's son formed a group of heterogenous tribes under his leadership as his father had, not Goths by any stretch, probably not even all 'Germanic'.
Eventually they were settled under a foedus in Pannonia. It was at this point that roughly speaking, that emperor Zeno and Theodoric signed a treaty which made Theodoric a Patrician and allowed Theodoric to seize Italy and rule on the authority of the Roman emperor.
Once in Italy and in power, Theodoric looked for a history and cultural identity for his 'people' luckily for Theodoric he had Cassiodorus.
+1 for this mod request.
That is possible to make, but I let for someone else to do it that is much better with custom db builds than me.![]()

I MODDED
I remember experimenting around with the Ostrogoths just after launch trying to get them to build Roman buildings. It did work. However, to do it I had to change their faction culture to Roman - which meant their generals, voices, names, family trees and everything else you can think of all became Roman.
Before I settled and built Roman units, it looked kinda funny seeing a Roman general leading a group of migrating barbarians in battle (:
That said, I'm as novice at faction editing as you can get so it was a very beginner attempt.

Here you go. it's very amateurish, but it should do what I described.

Funny? More like AWESOME.
pls mod pack?
Maybe it would be best to create a new culture, for example gothic culture for Visigoths and Ostrogoths and that way they can have their barbarian looks but with Roman features such as build chain?

i could live with them haveing a roman general, in reality most of their generals were roman trained and employed so why wouldnt they wear roman superior armour and possibly even speak similar to them?
