    Default Same blood

In the Hannibal - campaign I saw that Carthage and Libya have same blood, although they have different cultures (Lybia is a client state). My question is: Is it possible to create a trigger or a script, that a client state becomes same blood after for example 50 turns? It would be very logical and you would have the option to form a confederation.

Why should a client state become same blood? Ofc there would be some kind of immigration but enough that you would call it same blood?

Either the "royal families" mary or the administration of the client state is infiltrated. Historically it was always a goal of the patrons to bind the client states closer to them and integrate them into their empire.

That's actually a pretty sound idea. If you consider it, many times conquest came through assimilation rather than war. In Italy, for instance, the Romans didn't innitialy rule supreme, but had a bunch of allied tribes that, in time, became absorved into a larger, unified Italian state under Rome. Allowing military allies or client states to be absorved into your empire after a long therm relationship would be a nice way to demonstrate it. It may have been an isolated case (if you know more about the time period, please explain it to me ), but I believe it would be a nice touch to the mechanics, were instead of ROFL through the map with hordes of soldiers you can conquer them through diplomacy (and some war, this is not Rome Total Peace after all )

the problem with this idea, is you can't confederate with your vassals, the game wasn't programmed to let this happen since in Vanilla only Barbs can Confederate and can't make vassals so they didn't add that function.

Yes, I know but there is already a DEI submod, which allows all factions to confederate. And I think you could fix that problem with the vassals. The only thing I don't know is whether this script is possible or not. Therefore I would need the help of any experienced modder here.

Not only Barbarians. In my last Rome Campaign Parthia,Dahae and Parthava created Arsacid Empire.

That is not Vanilla That is a part of DEI.

I think rather than forming a confederation with your vassal states it would make more sense to annexed it, which happened historically. Maybe after being your vassal for a certain number of turns or having a certain amount of your borders surrounding them. Though, I'm not sure if that is even possible within the limits of Rome II's engine so I guess this idea could be an alternative to that.

Same blood is simply a reflection of being the same subculture. You can't change that mid-game. Even if you could, it would cause all sorts of problems

Not entirely sure you'll even read this question but is there any reason Massilia, Syracuse, and even Arche Bosporus are separate sub cultures from the Mainland Greeks? They seem to have all the same buildings and stuff, was it done purely to stop Hellenic Leagues being formed by Massilia/Syracuse? Cause it feels like an arbitrary split.

Yes, this was done purely to stop Hellenic Leagues being formed by too many factions. Back in 0.8, I remember playing a campaign as Arche Bosporus and confederating with Macedon, Sparta, Syracuse, Massilia, and even the Ardiaei (who also didn't have their own subculture at that time).
