    Default A favor

So as a mac player of Rome Total war, I find vanilla quite boring, I loved Europa Barbarorum so much back when the mod first came out for mac, however with all the patches for the mac Version of Rome Total war I can no longer play EB, the issue is that I can still install it and run it fine but whenever I try and choose a faction to play as I get a message saying "please select something from the list" I really want to be able to play the game, the way around it is to completely uninstall Rome, reinstall, don't update, install EB, create all the campaigns, then save the games, exit the game, more the save files, update Rome Total war, install EB again, and then move those save files into the new saves folder. Now as you can clearly see that takes up a lot of time. So what I think would make things great, and here is where the title of the thread comes into play, would be if somebody could make a save Game of every faction that could then be downloaded so that those with macs like me could just download the turn 1 save of the factions, and never have to worry about updating the game again. would this be a possibility?
Wil you play the game? the game of thrones.

Anybody? all you would have to do is just create new game then put the save game available to be downloaded.

If you think these 20 saves will fix the problem with macs, this can be done.

yeah it will because then all one would have to do is just move the saves from downloads to the saves folder of EB thereby having the saves so that when you launch the game you can just choose load campaign and load up from turn 1 as though you hit start a new campaign

Well you know more with macs than me but we have an extra problem, you play eb with mods or without? For example i use my modpack:
    http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...b0Gia-Released!
So if i upload the saves you are not going to play them unless you have the modpack too. Same goes for other modpacks and mods.

    hi,
i also play on a Mac.... i was able to play EB for years like you. However, last fall I saw that you could now play Alexander expansion with EB and the Mac, so I downloaded it from feral. alas, no luck, it wouldn't work. I then re-purchased RTW from apple so I could try alexander with that. I spent hours trying suggested fixes. No go.

So, I deleted all my EB and RTW files, re-installed the original RTW for Mac that i bought years ago. re-dowloaded EB and was able to run the game. Now, i have no recent updates, but at least I still get to play EB.

I am dying for a chance to play EBII or RTW II on Mac. or MTW II as well.

Hey, in case anyone is going to check this thread I found a way to get past this. You need to use the EB version that Feral Interactive put together, not the one that the EB team provides.

You can get it here: http://downloads.feralinteractive.com/mods/rome/
