Quickly swapping a whole roster (playing WRE campaign with ERE roster)

Hi! Is it possible to easily swap a whole roster for a campaign faction? Like giving the WRE the exactly same roster the ERE has?

I really like the WRE starting situation, but their units are not exactly to my liking, keeping me from playing the campaign.

I already tried changing the military group in the "factions" table, but without success (at least the building tree still shows WRE units)

The table you want is 'units_to_groupings_military_permissions'. Clone all the entries for the ERE and change the military group to the western empire, so long as they both use the same buildings that should be all you need. I haven't played as Rome so I'm not sure if they do. Delete all the original entries for the WRE or you'll get both sets of units, which has the side effect of doubling your garrison sizes.

It is a bit tricky because you also need to work with the technology tables.

What i have done to my own pleasure so far is adding the following units to the West:

Hetaira Guard (over Infantry Building)
Clibanarii (over Cavalry Building)
Numeroi (over Infantry Building)
Armoured Sagitarii (Upgrade of the Sagitarii)
Equites Sagitarii (over Skirmisher Building)

Further i added:

Alani Horseman
Alani Nobleman (upgrade of the Alani Horseman)
Germanic Lancers

I added the Alani and Germanic Unit because they had so many Alani in the Eastern Army at the time and just transfered it to the west

The other Eastern Roman Units are just for fun, although i ignored the Dromidarii, that would be to much to see them in Gaul

My problem so far is that i love the Lanciarii Seniores but i can't get them to work in the west to be recruited over a building. Probably i need to delete something from the technology_unit_upgrade_table because they are upgraded over the same tech, but i actually don't now how to delete lines of the table. Maybe someone has an idea how to solve this i would be glad. Otherwise you can look in to my file so far.
