    Default Plans for Pergamon?

I was just wondering if you guys had any plans for a Pergamon makeover? Particularly whether you guys would lean toward Successor State or Polis? As Lysimachos has only been dead for less than a decade at the start of the campaign and his general Phletaeros has just founded the Attalid Dynasty and taken control of the city, should the faction perhaps be renamed to Attalidai? Perhaps they could be given some Thracian units as Lysimachos was "king of thrace" for a what if scenario like how Arche Bosporus has local units? Or perhaps some elephants?

I only ask because the Attalids are my favorite faction of the period but at the moment in DeI they have only like one unique unit (and barely any units at all yet) so I can't bring myself to start a campaign with them.
I'm not asking "when" as you guys can get around to it whenever you please!
Just wondering what direction you could take as Pergamon itself isn't really a long historied Polis like Syracuse, Athens, or Sparta are so I don't think the Polis angle will really reap many units.

hopfully not, i would prefer them to focus on a faction that i am not forced to pay cash to unlock.

On the reverse side of that coin I'd like them to focus on factions I already paid to unlock!

I actually think it would make a lot more sense if they were to go towards Roman influence, considering how Pergamon turned out and their apparent loyalty to Rome even early on.

A Greek start with Romanized influence as the reforms go on.

I really like how that sounds, but isn't Galatia which is next door, doing something similar? Not that that makes me any amount against it.

Yeas please focus more on Pergamon. I remember Roma Serrectum2:s roster for Pergamon:

A good mix of western and eastern hellenic troops along with allied celts and thracians...

You aren't forced to pay for anything. Some people paid for Pergamon and want to see it improved.

I just checked my steam Storage and discovered a loose black Sea Colonies DLC copy, I might be able to give that to somebody who desperatly wants to play Pergamon...

No, people payed for a copy and paste greece faction which should had been free. Yes i am being forced to pay for it in order to play a faction that was already in the game that was free.

So you would have it remain a "copy and paste" Greek faction and lash out at any attempt to make it unique? If it is so "copy and paste" can't you simply play any of the other "copy and paste" Greek factions and have the same effect? You are not being forced to pay for it. If you are so anti-dlc just be aware the game does have other playable factions for you to play and enjoy the game with. Let the Dev's of Rome 2 decide on what should or should not be in the game, and the Dev's of DEI decide what should or should not be worked on.

After now being able to look through the faction I strongly agree that adding Roman flavor to the faction would be brilliant, I would even be pressed to choose playing it over Sparta.

Pergamon was rewarded with a lot of Seleucid territory for their loyalty to Rome, and on top of that, Augustus instituted some pretty big building projects in at least one Pergamese city, turning it into a completely roman styled great city.

Towards the very end of your roster as the Seleucids, you have imitation legionnaires with the silver shield troops.

With both fighting against the Seleucids and the influence of Rome over the years, I think it's very likely that Pergamon could have developed a fighting force similar to Rome after seeing how effectively Rome took down enemies.

Along with pergamon, I'd like to see Bithynia improved also.

Bithynia and Pontus annoy me, they're Hellenic but get inferior Eastern Garrisons
