Default Need help for noob trying to install

Haven't played Rome much since it first came out. I would like to try it with this DeI mod and a couple other small ones now that the bugs and whatnot are worked out of the game. Problem is when I see the mods listed in mod manager 2.0 they have a bunch of conflicts listed. I couldn't even scroll down in the box in mod manager either. I downloaded the four parts of DeI from the Worshop and it says they were updated Feb 7th. Can someone tell me where I am going wrong and what I need to do? Do I need some of the official DLC for Rome II?

I installed Dei yesterday with a minimum of problems, but I installed the non-Steam version. The only thing that gave me fits for about ten minutes was I had Bullgod's unit cards for Dei in the mod mix. Once I took it and all other mods out, Dei ran fine. Then I fed mods back in one at a time to see which ones would run. Don't worry too much if the mod manager shows conflicts. My favorite mod, Caesar's Legions, shows over three hundred and runs well. Bullgod's cards shows one and won't run at all. You just have to test them individually. Good luck.
"With a population of around a million, Rome (in Claudius' time) was a vast city even by modern standards. It is worth pointing out that during the early Renaissance the population of Rome was no more than fifteen thousand-- living amid the ruins of a civilization that dwarfed their own. It was not until the nineteenth century that the population of Rome returned to the levels it had enjoyed under the Caesars. That is eloquent proof of the fact that human history is not a tale of steady progress towards greater knowledge and achievement." Simon Scarrow

Maybe I don't get your problem. Does DeI not start? I'm using the standalone version now and Mitch's mod manager but when I used the Steam 4-part version I hadn't problems either. What is Mod Manager 2.0? Is it the Steam stuff? Just activate the four parts, allow outdated mods and play. If a manager shows conflicts, that's usually not a problem. I use additional mods to DeI and there are lots of conflicts shown in my manager because the mods contain the same tables (with partly different content). The first loaded file rules in case of conflicts.
