Hey all,
I think I´ve raised this question before, and it hasn´t been adressed yet: Can/will you fix Wonders to actually do what they are supposed to do?

It´s difficult to know if things like +3% army movement are actually working, but bonii like +5 own factions culture (all regions) or +5 public order (all regions) are definitely NOT working.

It´s no critique, I was just wondering (pun not intended), because there are some pretty big wonder-related bonii out there, and it could be worth conquering certain provinces for the wonders alone, adding a "resource" of sorts, and thus, more depth.

Now looking at the culture tab: no +5. I have a governor (south of Navissos) responsible for the +6 from characters, and as you can see in the first screen, I have a lvl3 temple of Zeus responsible for the +6 from buildings. Adding it all togther is indeed 19 (not 24, if the bonus where hidden):


And the growth... actually now that I look at it I think the growth might be added into province effects (?):


But the culture thing is still missing...

What imperium level are you? At higher imperium levels, you also have a penalty to cultural influence that isn't properly shown in the UI. That might explain it, or maybe the wonder effect isn't working after all.

You could try to find exactly where all the growth bonuses come from, but the wonder effect is probably included in province effects.

So I can tell you for sure that the wonders are working! In my recent campaign I captured some and all effects are applied.

Its like Augustus said. For higher Imp you get a cultural penalty. In the cultural breakdown you have +1 Culture. The Wonder gives you +4 so I assume you have a penalty of -3 to cultural influence from Imperium level.

Growth is probably added to province effects but I am not 100% sure. But thats easy to find out. You have +100 PO that gives a growth bonus. Spring (if its a good one) too. The rest is probably the wonder.

Checked and for me it is working. Got -3 penalty from my imperium, the same wonder as well and in a newly conquered egyptian province in got exactly 1 culture bonus. No other character influences there, as I tripple checked that too.
The only provinces, where it is different, is where you share it with an ally, so both penalty or bonus apply. Though kinda logical ^^
