How to I create a massive size custom battle?

Would like to create a massive clash between Teutonic Knights and French Knights. Is it possible to create a custom battle with tens of thousands of troops on either side or can I only get the usually 1,500 each? Thanks

When you save the battle setup, the files it creates can be edited with notepad. You'll see unit names with number coming after, I don't know how high the number can be, ask Goofy, he created a minimod that reach the maximum soldier per unit.
