Unit textures and faction symbols changing with religion?
You can convert to paganism as Rome but the units still display the Chi Ro on their shields. Is there any mechanism by which changing religion could give units alternative textures? Could something similar be done for faction symbols, so for instance a germanic faction converting to christianity won't use a pagan symbol?

I'm more worried when they say. Warrior's of Christ! One thing i liked about BI that units did not say crap like that so turning religion was not a problem. Now it just feel... wrong somehow

Yeah, it's a huge disappointment that's for sure. Units, ships, and agents will use chi-rho and the cross even when you convert. You'd think CA would've looked into that, with conversion being such an important mechanic and all.

I actually wouldn't mind a DLC expansion improving on the religion aspect (along with other new campaign features). Maybe even make it so that characters are able to convert on their own with consequences for faction politics, possibly starting rebellions etc.
