Default Mod idea: Taking the sons of your enemies in "custody". Possible?

Since we have the family tree back I was thinking about an old custom that was done throughout the ages and cultures: When a faction was defeated the sons or maybe other relatives were brought to the capital of the victors and lived there, sometimes for many years as kind of an assurance their relatives at home would behave.
That could have very different results, depending on the treatment and the nature of the captives.
So my idea was making it a choice when you defeated a faction and adding that person to your family tree. You might be given a certain range of treatment choices, but you could never be really sure of their loyalty.
If you are familiar with the story of Arminius or Theon Greyjoy in Game of Thrones you now what I mean.

hmm i do believe that feature was in Shogun 2, it was only available through diplomacy and you could only keep the hostage in your custody for 8 turns.

I think its possible to be lightly modded to make it more interesting in shogun 2 itself however i'm not sure if its possible to add a whole new feature into Atilla.

Then again mitch has been able to get a population mod working for Rome II (i think its working yet, not too sure) so maybe it is possible
If you work to earn a living, why then do you work yourself to death?

If someone does it i hope he makes it working. Totally useless feature in Shogun II . You could own 99% of the Japan and feeble enemy would still refuse to give hostage.
