Default Rome 2 Era Start Date

Hello there. I'm the creator of the Antiqua Imperium mod that will aim to create an overhaul of Attila in an early campaign setting. There are some issues with this, though. Mainly, the map is not perfectly suited to the previous era (Greece and Sicily, in particular). There may be some workarounds to this (hordes, the ability to place settlements on the map, potential scripting workarounds), but for now, we are sort of stuck with what CA gave us as a horde is a rather poor representation of the settlements of Rome 2.

I'm looking to get feedback on a potential start date. What is it that people think would work and that they'd find most enjoyable:
    1. 200 BC (the current plan) - the start of the Second Macedonian War. Rome is now turning its attention to the revolt in Cisalpine Gaul, Macedon, and would shortly be at war with several Iberian tribes. At the same time, Antiochus III had returned from his Eastern campaigns and was readying for war with Ptolemy to retake Coele-Syria.
    2. 218 BC - The start of the Second Punic War. Syracuse would make a return as a faction. It was the primary focus on the island of Sicily at this point, so the map isn't too much of a drawback. The First Macedonian War kept Philip occupied, and Hannibal would already be in Italy. In the East, the Seleucids and Ptolemies are about to face off at Raphia, and Parthia and Baktria have secured their independence in the East.
    3. 264 BC - The First Punic War. In my view, Sicily and Greece are magnified at this point. Athens and Sparta are harder to leave off the earlier we go. Messana could perhaps be represented as a horde and a new model on the campaign map (along with battle map), Carthage's territory is absent.
    4. Other - if you pick this option, please provide an explanation. What do you think is the ideal campaign time frame with the Attila map.

I picked 200 BC so Rome is big as possible in given time frames. I never got to enjoy strong Rome.

I think it should start 115 AD of imperial Rome

Third Makedonian war it is the end for Greece soon becomes a province, one last throw of the dice with Andriscus' revolt twenty years later sack of Korinth (which is on the map) after Achaean leagues revolt. In the east the Parthians are fully expanding after Mithridates came to the Parthia throne in 165.
The Seleukids also have to deal with the Maccabees, plus the loss of Asia Minor!

264 rocks. Smaller Rome which you can build to your liking

About 160 or 170ad, during marcus aurelius rule would be awesome!

As a great lover of Pyrrhic war, so, 280 BC could be cool, and this also because i like camillian roman reform.
(But in second choice, i would prefer a 264 BC time period).
