    Default Help to understand how to mod morale

    I would like to change the morale modifiers in TATW:MOS so that troops are shaken and rout more easily. I dislike that most troops will fight to the last man (orc).

    I don't see the relevant text file available for editing (so I suppose it is still in the packed form?). Can someone expose it for me (or otherwise give me a hint of how to proceed).

    Morale can be modified in the export_descr_unit.txt which is located in TATW's data folder.
    You'll have to lower the first number in the stat_mental line.

    Thanks. Yes, I get that. I was rather hoping to edit the morale modifiers though, given that I presume quite some trouble has been made to make the relative morales in descr_unit balanced.

    Even those with very low morale currently, such as Snagas, will fight to the last man on occasion, which suggests the morale mods for casualties, etc are not right.

    Should I just unpack all the files? Can I just add in a unit_morale_modifiers file from somewhere else (without unpacking)? Sorry to be slow...it's been a while since I modded.

    The AI gets some morale bonuses, especially if you play on VH.
