What determines how good a faction leader is for the purpose of factionwide bonuses?
Its not rank and as far as I can tell its not skills or traits either. His attributes (authority, cunning...)? And if so should they be balanced or specialized?
Also the single-party politics are still broken. Not badly so, but still. High influence results in higher CW chance, which denies access to the better bonuses. I tend to roleplay my empire (not only building food and public order) or sometimes try make do with the fewest provinces possible. So I dont like the usual walkarounds (lots of statesmen, admirals and so on) very much. This means I really need the bonuses to make it work. Also and maybe unusally I like the politics: Grooming the next leader, using the right govenours for the right job and when the campaign starts to stall there is always the possibility to engineer a civil war intentionally to grab power.
Thanks for any advice and maybe a hint when this will be fixed. As always: This game is nothing without DEI.
