[Request] Betrayal on the battlefield

I would like the option to betray my ally on the battlefield. This happened in history and was a feature in past Total War games.

In which game? Played Rome 1 - Attila and never been able to attack my ally, if you mean those blue allies on battle map :p

No, just make it so you could attack your non-faction ally on the battle-map.

The only way ive been able to do this is to fight loads of battles along side my allies and manually use loads of siege weapons to fire at my allies, this gives them crap tonnes of casualties however they're just counted as normal casualties and it doesn't change anything between you and your ally.

However now that you've weakened their army you can declare war and win the greatest victory since the Winchester flower-arranging team beat Harrow by twelve sore bottoms to one !

This would require modding the engine and thus, it is not possible. It would be nice, but no modder is every going to be able to pull this off.
