Hi, mod what i'm looking for is one which reduces army and navy movements on land a lot. This gives AI and the players chance to react/counter/plan.
In Vanilla version Celts and Viking forefathers are totally overpowered (AI only), because of the movement points. Picts can attack Belgium, Gallia in one - two turns! It makes especially AI WRE fall apart really fast because it can't counter armies which "teleport" from north Britain to it's land suddenly. So far i have 25 hours in Attila and every time i change Faction or simply restart game Celtic factions dominate the Gallia, Belgium and Iberia. This happens quickly after South Britain is on the ground.
DeI has one great submod

I'm looking similar to Attila. Winter areas gets even lower due to snow. So AI can't "teleport" though Alps either.
What i think/know by the experience from DeI movement will happen if mod like this is well implemented
Positive
- Greece and Constantinople can't be razed fully in few turns like currently. Goths can move to about 2 settlements each turn. This should give AI time to defend against Goths and upcoming Huns
- In 5-10 turns whole Iberia, Gallia and Belgium is either Rome or rebels. Not Celtic Empire
- Planning, if i attack do i have enough time to come and defend?
- Makes 12 turn mods better
Negative
- Game takes a lot longer for player
- Ofc it does not fix the Celtic super duper progression, but its a start
