    Is there any mod to lower or be able to change the upkeep cost for armies?


    Also is it possible to change the recruitmentcost anyhow?

    I just started playing around with changing upkeep costs, I'll let you know if I get it working without adjusting every unit one by one. I'm obviously pretty rusty with tw modding though, my first attempt at changing the costs through campaign difficulty settings didn't work at all.

    If I've uploaded this correctly it reduces upkeep by 40% across the board for player and ai. Won't work for any additional unit mods, may not work for any number of other reasons. Hope it helps.

    I believe this is bugged, I just used it and my game won't even load, can you please look into it? Coz I really just want a mod that ONLY reduces upkeep without touching anything else, thanks!

    Are you by chance using another mod that makes changes to the main_units db? That's the only way I was able to actually get my changes to stick so it might not be compatible with combat rebalances for instance.

    NICE! Very good job, I have to test this right way. I have no idea what screwed up between Rome 2 and this game but in this game I do NOTHING but lose money every single round, but in Rome 2 with the same (with actually more armies) I was making a pretty good profit. I would have 8-10 armies in Rome 2 and make anywhere between 3-10k from my towns each round. In Attila I have 8 armies top and I'm losing 11-20k each round. Somewhere in translation CA effed up.

    Here, you might want to use this instead, it's compatible with everything! no matter if you use new units, edit them, or use DLC. It gives every culture a new additional effect witch reduces the upkeep with -40% on all units.... so as long as there is new culture your fine Is that enough or how much do you want to reduce it?

    well... this is embarrassing, if i was able to edit my post i would have got away with it but... yeah, I kind of made a few mistakes on those two.

    Are you planning on updating this? It worked great prior to the new patch.

    With the new patch it causes an endless hang going into year 402AD. Would love to see it updated, really essential to me!
