Default Known Tables and their Effects

    Hello everyone,

im totally new to modding in TW-series, so this is more of a request from noobside.

i just started to work on my own little mod for TW:Attila, just a few "improvements" i want to have in the game like higher army-limits, more generals, younger generals and other general campaign-conditions like that.

my way to figure out how to mod this game was not that hard till this point, but i really have a problem to find information about the tables and their effects.
i googled a lot to find any information about what particular table is doing or which table is neccessary to achieve an desired effect.sometimes (often) with absolutely no result.thankfully the attila db is similar to romes db, the awesome work of community-modders is basically my source for stuff ive accomplished so far.ive loaded mods from others in PFM to take a look which tables they used and try to figure out why and in which coherence.

    question of the hour:
is there any source explaining the tables and their effects, or atleast a compilation of the most important tables?
i know that a whole documentation will probably stay a dream, but there must be anything out there

if anyone can share his experience, do it! if there is no compilation of the most important tables, maybe we can create one together!

thanks in advance and excuse my english (its not my native language)

    So i will start this!

campaign_variables_tables - this is the table where you can take hands on campaigns events behaviour, chances and penaltys, such as ambush chances, religion migration or unhappiness multipliers and many more.you can adjust character-creation-settings like cost, chance for type of,pool cap for characters the game will keep available for you. (havent found the entry for how many new characters will be available per turn yet)

fame_levels_tables - here you can adjust the number of armys available to raise per imperium-level.same for fleet and several agents.the column names are unknown[number] so you need to figure out which is the right for your desired change.unknown1 is the one for army limit.

    for everyone who join this:
please copy every progress we made, keep the style, add your information to it, then post it.at the end we maybe get a decent list.feel free to correct descriptions(especially my noobish ones, grammarwise aswell) but make sure its 100% right if you make any corrections.

has anyone found anything that will make it able to mod the "Great power" diplomacy trait? there must be a modifier per faction aswell, because its different for all..

campaign_cultural_relations comes close but only deals with cultural difference

I think what you are looking for may be Cai_personality_empire_rivalry_components_tables. There is also an imperium attitude modifier in cai_variables

Got a few more for the OP, and i also think that in fame_levels_tables the 1u and 7u may relate to at what point the different imperium levels activate.

Cai_personalities - Campaign AI personalities and how they build etc, no different i think.

Cai_variables - Bunch of campaign AI modifiers and variables

This is one i don't remember seeing before but i could be wrong but it seems interesting. Anyone think they can figure out what campaign_statistics_categories and campaign_statistics_strings are all about?

thx! its controllable with the cai_variables imperium attitude, which modifies the hate or love empires trait.. after digging through so many tables i kinda lost track and must have missed these

Anyone figure out what unknown6 refers to?
The values are slightly higher than the unknown0 ones, which presumably are the threshold values

You can see all the unknowns if you open up the table in the Assembly Kit. That can be used to update the PFM schema as well. Some tables in PFM just haven't been updated yet with the information from the Assembly Kit.
