    I tried your method while leaving the mod files in the data folder and no luck. The game didnt even started, altough, to tell the truth, even without your script it didnt launched. Only launched when i removed the mods from the data folder

    Why hasn't anyone fixed this vital community tool? It's absolutely ridiculous that we have literally thousands of mods for multiple games, but no mod manager.

    Sorry for being clueless about Attila modding. I have just downloaded this tool and a bunch of Attila mods in my Downloads section. So what's next? In which folder should I unzip the file and how do I set the correct path for the mods? Moreover, where should the mods be placed? They are currently in my Downloads section and should probably be placed somewhere else - but where? Alternatively, is there a ReadMe file or some instructions anywhere?

    @Geoffrey

    You place the .pak mod files in the Attila/Data folder. The mod manager is to be placed in the Attila folder where you have Attila.exe and you can make a short cut for it to the desktop. Read Mitch's posts in this thread to find out more about how to configurate the mod manager to make it find the mod files. Or go to the thread about this manager for Rome II.

    the mod manager will not launch my game. I have used the MM for every other TW game with no issues until now. Having to fight my pc to use attila offline AND to use its mods ive chosen was a pain in on it self. Got everything ship shape and go to launch through MM, but every time I try it shows that theres a parameter issue "1" and it will not launch my game

    Hi,
    I'm Italian, so I'm sorry if I'm typing something wrongly.
    I have downloaded this mod manager in order to use Medieval Kingdoms mod on Attila. I have 1.5.2 version, yeah, the game is cracked, but the manager say "Exception not managed by the app. Value can't be null. parameter name: path1.
    I also have changed the installation folder on this C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly\.

    what should i do?

    I have Windows 10 and the mod still launches fine for me. I use it look at conflicts between mods. I use the "script" trick otherwise for ordering and launching games. It doesn't have support for Warhammer though. Is there anyway to add WH support, at least for conflict detection? I find this a super useful when quickly seeing how mods are compatible with each other. Is there another tool people are using for this? Thanks.

    If the mod manager doesn't work, just put all the *.pak files into the data folder. When that is done you open the user.script.txt, or create one if you don't have any, and write down all the mods in load order. The mod in the bottom is the one that is loaded last and the mod in the top is loaded first. So if you use Europa Perdita, the submod Europa Perdita 12 turns per year and Fall of The Eagles, the 12tpy submod should load before Europa Perdita and Europa Perdita should load after Fall of The Eagles.
    mod "name_of_mod.pak";
    mod "_12TPY_Europa_Perdita.pak";
    mod "@@name_ofModNumber3.pak";
    mod "nameOfanotherMod.pak";
    mod "@Fall_of_the_Eagles_0.pak";
    mod "@Fall_of_the_Eagles_1_Textures.pak";
    mod "_Europa_Perdita.pak";

    I tried this, with and without the '' marks, still the same, the game freezes at the white Emperor Edition loading screen.

    For clarification, I indeed own a legal copy of the game, game launcher didn't work, several fixes proposed by CA did nothing. That's why I said I was going crazy. I really love this game and the mods add so much to it. I recently have some spare time so I wanted to return with some good mods but no NO I can't install any mod for no apparent reason.

    To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this

    enabled.

    For example:

    <configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
    </configuration>

    When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
    will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
    rather than be handled by this dialog box.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------

    I can see that several people before me have also had this problem, but no one seems to be able to fix it.

    Please, could anyone, even the developer of this wonderful application, help us out on this matter?

    N.B. For those looking for access denied problems (e.g. access denied to data.pack, etc), simply (copy and pasted from somewhere):

    Right Click on Total War Rome 2 folder(located in your programs folder or wherever)

    > click 'properties'
    Then security tab
    > Go to 'Users' and click the arrow on Full Control.

    It should then whizz a load of stuff for a few seconds and it will work, it's just administrator rights.

And the same thing happens with Total war Seven Kindoms, do you know a solution for this? (Forgive me for my english, i'm italian)
