    [QUOTE=LuciferHawk;14374585]Here the debug version :: dxgi.zip
    Turn on MLAA in-game.
Make sure GEMFX works without UI-By-Pass.
    Run Attila with UI-By-Pass activated.
Start a battle to see if GEMFX is applied.
If not, then at least try one reload of GEMFX (pause/break key by default).

So I tried this, and it does seem to enable the UI bypass. HOWEVER, I am getting an fps of about 20fps, which is 60% of my overall performance (because in battle im normally at around 35 fps). Not ideal
Interested in how Attila and the new LONGBEARDS DLC plays?

Hey great work as always Lucifer, I don't really care that much about the UI-pass, and if its a bit buggy Then Ill happily avoid, so thanks for the 'normal' new GEM release for Attila, tis all I need.

Though I do need to find a preset that is a bit more vibrant then usual, I find Attila more dark and grim then Rome(which I think makes sense/was intended) but when you then darken it up more with a nice GEM it gets kinda crazy for crushed blacks and the likes

I would need the GEMFX.log file please Once again to the fps, if UI-By-Pass does not work you do not need to check fps cause they will of course be lower since a heavy algorithm is running to find the by-pass entry.

Yes, with the R2 defaults it can look pretty grim Once I touch the BMs/CMs of Attila (if ever necessary), I will also release a predefined version of GEMFX for Attila. Until that you will hopefully find plenty of presets from other users (or create your own)

You mean MLAA? So UI-By-Pass works or it doesn't work?

I mean I have enabled 2xFAA in the GEM configurator, but only MLAA in-game. This makes UI bypass work, but it drops my fps by 60-70%.

By-pass UI still crashes the game for me, I am only able to play with it turned off, I tried using compatibility mod with by-pass UI but then they game would launch without GEMFX.

I can't use UI bypass without AA? I don't really like to use AA because GTX 680 hates any kinda AA no matter the game.

When it worked with that MLAA why it still tried to do "something" which cuts fps :/?

Honestly i must say i never used this feature on Rome II, but now that i have seen it in action there is no coming back hehe

Preview on many new features in GEMFXv1.1 (e.g. Natural Light, Particle Effects, Motion Blur (now also for UI-By-Pass))

    only fresh installs work.

literally just opening and closing the configurater after a fresh install breaks it.
I would suggest to delete all old GEMFX content and install it again. Then make sure that the configurator is successfully writing and reading the settings file before you proceed.

Can you post your GEMFX.log file content? Did previous GEMFX versions work for you? (Attila is no 64bit game, that option is not needed)

Hey Thanks for responding, I am not sure where to find the GEMFX.log file. I checked the main Atilla folder and its not there. GEMFX works fine with Rome 2 but not with Atilla. I have tried gem 1.07, 1.08 and copying my Rome 2 gemfx files to Attila none of those options worked.

How do I get my old preset into the new GEM?

It looks like this and I used it early on in Rome 2...but the config file looks NOTHING like this. The config file is now just a list of numbers. I put this in and it still doesn't work And I don't want to install Rome 2 to get the old version, my bandwidth is already used a lot this month.
