I am a modder myself but I haven't bought attila yet
I want to start attila with a great sassanid reskin mod.

Count me in! I've reskinned some norse factions already. Forgive me for not knowing how sassanids looked historically. If you send some reference pics I'll get right on it. (Can't do any new textures though)

No, not yet. I hate to say, but I am gonna that mod off for a bit. I decided I actually like too many of the vanilla units. Rather, I will make a unit addon pack for all the norse factions, adding many mid and late tier units. But, for right now there is more demand for a Sassanid overhaul, and there are PLENTY of vanilla units there that need changing. I hope that this isn't too much of a let down, but trust me, there is a lot of good work to come

Here's what I got so far (before and after). I replaces a lot of the lamellar armor with chainmail and added the masked helmets. I also gave the unit scale vambraces and plate greaves. Next I have to make a new helmet variantmeshdefinition to add plumes, and then I will mix in some bronze scaled horse armor.

Thank you man, will do, can you apply face masks to the whole of the Sassiand Cataphracts, the Gyan Aspar, Grivpanr Cataphracts - with those winged helmets plz!

Do you want the same helmet on every cataphract unit? I can do this but would you rather I put the winged helm on the advanced units and the simple masked helms on the lower tier cataphracts? Let me know and I will get right to work on that.
