What Happens at the End Times ?

I've looked through many old posts, and searched for this - but no luck...

After you conquer the entire known world and every city is under your control (except those "Terra Incognito" cities), what happens if you just keep going ?

All cities are maxed out with a population under control - is this possible even for far flung corners of the empire ?
All buildings have been constructed

Does everything settle down to a constant state, or does your treasury just keep going up and up while your garrison/armies continually fend off roaming brigands ?

Yes, if you hold 198/199 regions, you can keep going.

Every city can hit Huge City if you max of Population Growth Measures or whatever.

With all the temples, it will be probably at over 100% public order at max taxes etc. And then your treasury will probably be growing so fast even the script penalties won't stop it from going to infinity.

The random bandits that spawn will not attack, just sit around.

When I got to the end it gets boring. Nothing happens.
You start to go looking for fights and every once in a while a rebellion happens.

Just start a new game
