Why are all the slavs germanic (Mod idea?)

When playing as Huns I realized that the local tribes that i'd expect to be of slavic blood and ethos (Sclaveni, Antes, Venedi) in fact turned out to be germanic. At first I was like WTF, got an 'all factions playable' battle mod as well as took a peek into the data files and it proved to be right - there is no slavic culture group at all. It would be fun to be able to play as one of the eastern slavic factions, or at least have a historically accurately represented chance to conquer them as their enemies. Im not quite sure if its a mistake, or CA really has no interest in such details.

Anyway, I'd like to suggest that there is a total lack of any slavic culture/units/names etc. in vanilla Attila (btw. it rhymes Oo).

Its CA's revenge for us being able to play them for free, theyll probably get added in as DLC

Well, i hope thats the deal. Im also afraid, that even if a paid DLC is released, the modders will have to work on it :/ But the DLC idea makes sense: if you combine all the Russians, Poles, Czechs, Slovaks and the Southern Balkan Slavs it's a nice niche to target commercially

At that time, dacians almost didn't exist anymore as a culture, they were mostly romans and germans; that's because romans almost killed all dacians during their conquest and then built dozens of roman colonies in order to repopulate Dacia and to give fertile lands, which were lacking in Italy, to the veterans.
BTW, you're right: almost every barbarian faction counts as germanic, except huns and some sarmatians, who are mongoloid (WTF?).
