Default Hortensius' 3D building and city models

    Hi,

I began to upload some of my models onto Sketchfab. Take a look at them there! Alternatively, you can take a look at my blog post about 3D models on the Imperial Splendour website.

I just want to share some of my work with you, beginning with and building model I made some time ago.

It is a draft by Georg Ludwig Laves the most important Hanoverian architect in the 1st half of the 19th century. He planned to build a huge palace north of Hanover on what is called today the "Königsworther Platz". This palace should represent the new status of the monarchs of Hanover who were made Kings of Hannover after the Napoleonic Wars.

Here are the front plan and the ground plan of the 1st floor:

And here is the 3D model:

    Edit:

Here is the version of the original model I used for the ETW-Mod "Imperial Splendour". The model I use in-game is massivly scaled and has a much smaller ground plan - simply because it would to small to see anything with the human eye.

    Update 5.10.2015:

I create another building I want to share with you guys!

It's the Harling'sche Haus and was located in the Calenberger Str. 29/30 in Hannover.
    Here is a front view:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

The central part of the building was build from 1679-1682. The 2 wings were added in the early 18th century. Finally it was demolished in 1874.
I'll use this model as a building model for the ETW-mod Imperial Splendour, where it'll represent one building from the army building chain.
The name will be General-Commando (a high command).

    And here is the model:

Welcome to the graphics workshop, that is quite amazing. Will this be for a mod?

I created 2 city models for ETW, one for Hannover and one for London. Every model only uses unique buildings and an unique base.

Here is the one for London:

    Well done!
Would you perhaps care to model the Theodosian Walls or the Hagia Sophia?

    Thanks guys

I now present a 2D art stuff, apart from my thread title. (Ok you can see the new Hanoverian city model, but I posted it already)

    Hanoverian UI

I created this UI for Hannover for Imperial Splendour.

The base of my work were drawings of Neoclassicist interior design.

You can find some more screenshots showing the development in an album on the Imperial Splendour facebook page.
