The only reason it received a lower score than Rome is because it wasn't a "revolutionary game" like Rome was even though it was plagued with tons of bugs. M2TW is superior in EVERY way imaginable.

Never rely on someone who reviews games for a living, they never play the game long enough before they rate the game. Always rely on people who know the game and have knowledge of past similar games if such exists.

Well I cant say for sure that it is better, cause i have not played it yet. But no matter how good it is, RTW is always up in the top 3....

It really sucks that Europe gets the shaft in almost every single game up until now. Now in the ultimate game i need the Americans get the shaft! Gay!

Well, they are playing a bugged game, so hopefully by the time we get it, the patch will be out.

Ive got a question on whether my comp will handle the game. My comp is a dell so if i need more RAM or a new VC will i likely be able to install them myself?
    P4 3.4Ghz
GEFORCE 6800 256mb (worried about this)
    1 GB RAM
On the demo i played with most things on high, 2x AA, and shader 2. It lagged a little bit. IDK the fps, sorry.
    Any help is appreciated.

From waht alot of people have said you should be fine. I am not to familiar with GeFOrce cards. More ram can't hurt.

    I'm on a AMd 64 2800+ 1.8
    ATI x1600 512 AGP
    2 gig ram

Run everything same as you , no shadows, get around 15-30 FPS in the demo. Supposedly the game is more optimised than the gold demo.

BeachedWhale09, you have absolutely nothing to worry about. I just got the full game shipped to me and I have exactly the same setup you have, except that I only have the 6600 card, not the 6800.

It runs beautifully with most of the settings on high, except maybe the grass and vegetation which are sort of system hogs. When sieging the really huge castles, the FPS drops noticeably (which is not surprising when you see how well the castles are rendered) but it's still quite fine with most settings on high. The full game is better optimized than the demo, which is to be expected.

And BTW I've been playing M2TW non-stop since it arrived and I think it is far better and deeper than RTW (and I'm a fanatical fan of every TW game to date).

if you can run rome on high you will most certanly be able to run the same game, though I don't know how well. That hole squaler and distance things would be nice to hear about too.

I don't get it... From what I read at the guys over at the .com total war forums they are complaining about huge campaign bugs and battle bugs that piss people off. Saying how stupid the AI is. And then I read here and everything seems great... It's almost as if CA released two versions or something...

Yah, that is odd isn't it. I noticed the same thing. I see many people bashing the game, then at another moment I see them praising it. So, I decided not to jump to any kind of conclusions until I actually buy the game and begin to play it.

I think you will find (and I have) that those on the .com are little punks who are disappointed they weren't given uberish Knights from the Round Table and can't command King Arthur or search for Monty Pythons Holy Grail.

In English there a bunch of whinging little kids who have nothing better to whine about small little errors in what looks to me like a fantastic game. All games have some small flaws.
