campaign question

ok i will not be getting the game till tuesday but just out of curiousity what factions are playable from the start? also which ones seem to be the best to start out with?

england,france,spain,venice and the HRE. it seems that the HRE and france have a good amount of trouble. england seems to be kind of squashed if scotland isnt taken care of quickly, i havent heard much on spain but im sure their hands are full, and venice seems to also be somewhat surrounded by the hre and milan. im playing venice first though, to get experience and it shouldnt be hard because i can go straight for the byzantines, who are non catholic. once i play my venice campaign ill probably play england or sicily.

VENICE! then england. venetian heavy infantry look great-large shield, heavy armor, and one hand mace. they will be destroying anything even remotely heavily armored.
