Terror attack in Denmark

During a debate meeting featuring Swedish Lars Vilks (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lars_Vilks), one or two men attacked the scene Krudttønden (the Gunpowder barrel). One unnamed 40-year old civilian reported killed and three policemen wounded.
The attacker(s) are still running free, though the escape vehicle has been found.

Danish authorities have requested the help of the German federal police, presumably mainly to ensure intensified controls and search measures in the border area.

We can see the terrible impact of these attacks, reportedly panic broke out in some areas near the shooting location after news spread that such a shooting had happened. I really hope they find the guys quickly and it's not going to end in another manhunt like the Charlie Hebdo one..

I read somewhere that it was a failed assassination attempt on a man that co-signed a caricature of Muhammad a few years back, set to speak in a freedom of speech convention or some such (I'd link the source, but its not in English).

Given the circumstances, I'd say this only reinforces the need to protect freedom of speech from violent nut jobs.

One person has been killed and three police officers wounded after a free-speech gathering in Copenhagen ended in gunfire, according to local news service Ritzau.

The event was attended by Swedish artist Lars Vilks, known for caricaturing the Prophet Muhammad. Vilks was led to safety after as many as 40 shots were heard, according to Berlingske newspaper's website.

Danish police said it was investigating the shooting as a "terror act", police spokesman Jorgen Skov told journalists on Saturday.

Among the guests debating the role of art, blasphemy and free speech at the Copenhagen event was the French ambassador to Denmark, Berlingske said.

Latest reports seem to suggest there might only be one shooter after all.
Police have released a picture of a person of interest. Not necessarily the attacker, but he was spotted by a surveillance camera close to where and when the escape car was evacuated.

Another shooting near a synagogue in the Nørreport suburb of Copenhagen, one of the most busy parts of the town.
One killed and two policemen wounded.
Not confirmed if it's the same shooter or connected to the previous shooting.

Unconfirmed rumors of at least one person arrested following this last shooting.

edit: No kills confirmed at second shooting yet, but one victim was hit in the head.
Police denies having made any arrests.

Edit 2: The person reported arrested was apparently just a drunk idiot refusing to leave the premises when ordered to.

As if immigrants like Israeli Jews, Hindu Indians, atheist or Buddhist Chinese, Christian or Buddhist Koreans, Shinto Japanese, Coptic Egyptians, Catholic Mexicans, or Orthodox Assyrian Iraqi immigrants are causing any of these problems and terrorist acts in Europe. This is what happens when tolerance goes too far. Something needs to be done about extremist Muslims in Europe, it seems to be getting worse and worse every day.

In addition, it seems that many Europeans are either too stupid or afraid to recognize that the recent surge of antisemitism is entirely due to the rise of Islam in Europe.

This Washington Post article would seem to concur: ‘Jihadi John,’ a graduate of my radical university. By that he means Westminster. To think that the heart of London could be churning out these kinds of terrorists, at such a prestigious university...it's unsettling.

Indeed, although I beleive that is down to people too stupid to figure out that the actions of Israel has nothing to do with the local Jewish population.
