As some of you knows, TATW traits and ancillaries system is mostly Vanilla one, with some traits and anc added to add a bit to the lore. But the whole thing do something not completely lore-friendly, as elves, dwarves and orcs have the same chances to acquire tghe traits, so that you can have an Orc called Gazbah the Mercyfull, and/or and Elve called Aerandir the Flesh-Eater (just as a random exemple). So I would like to rework the whole system for getting traits, depending of race traits and some other one. So I have differents ways to propose :
- Just make as an argument the race trait
- Add as an argument some traits like Clever, brillant, Idiot, Coward, and so one, but it would be a bit more complicated, but better for RPG
- Last i would like to add for cultivated faction (good or bad), such as elves, dwarves, men of rhun and so one, some sorts of academy to improve some specifics traits, depending of the academy
The work method :
I would probably need your input , as it would be a lot of work to be done alone. It will mostly be :
I will give you a trait, with the porposition I have on it (influence of race, other trait, and so one), not to make something too fantasy.
I will take into account your decision, and then code the trait ingame
I will laso need help for writing, as my english is not so good
But final decision will probably be mine
